Ice Cream Tour

Our MOMS Club ended the summer on a sweet note. Touring Bruster's Ice Cream Shop.

After showing us around the facility the children helped to make a batch of ice cream. Of course the first child to volunteer was Elizabeth.

The lucky kid who got to turn on the machine.

Michael mixing the cake batter. The ice cream flavor they were making was birthday cake.

After churning it was time to add the frosting and sprinkles.

While the ice cream set up we also made waffle cones.

The children were very well behaved and listened attentively. There were 24 children and Michael was the oldest. Afterwards we sat outside and enjoyed a cool treat. The other mothers were amused at the flavors we chose. Michael picked chocolate raspberry truffle and Elizabeth picked tiramisu. Andrew and I shared a watermelon sorbet.
