Elizabeth's first day of school

She immediately goes to the Play Dough center with her teacher.

She hardly noticed me leaving.

Before school started she helped choose this backpack, which she calls pack-pack.

She had a great first day. Elizabeth told me she had a good teacher.
She loved all of the arts and crafts. Besides making a window light catcher they painted. The teacher said that she painted eight apples while the other students did one.

This week she also had her first dance class.

It was a Mommy and Me Creative Dance class. There were a lot of people in the room and she didn't really get into the class. Afterwards she said, "I didn't like dance very much."
I hope she enjoys it more next week.

Bath Time Fun

Andrew loves taking a bath with his big sister.

Just wash me already, so I can get back to playing.

Elizabeth loves to help.

My two burrito babies

Michael is getting so good with his baby brother.
I love the way they're looking at each other.

Andrew is always on the move. Here, Michael and Elizabeth are trying to keep him still for a picture.

One of my favorite times of the day is peeking in on the children as they drift off to sleep.

Elizabeth and Frankie baby

Sometimes Michael waits for me and has the funniest things to say. More often than not he wants to know what we will be having for breakfast in the morning. Other times it is commentary on the day or things he wants to do when he is a grown up.
I love these precious moments that he and I share.
Good night!

First day of Pre-K

His teacher, Mrs. Judson, showing him where to hang his backpack

Michael is very excited that school has resumed.

"Face" breakfast before school

Andrew is 8 months old

His serious expression

He loves to stand already!
Andrew is starting to pull up and can scoot across the room.
We all enjoy his cheerful babbling which usually sounds like
Dadada
and Hey
The latter of which causes Elizabeth to yell, "Andrew say HI!"

Birthday Celebrations

Out to lunch then shopping for my birthday

We drove to Cincinnati to surprise the family for my grandmother's birthday party.

I love how intently everyone, including Andrew, is staring at the cake.

Mmm

Up to no good in Helen's room.

Elizabeth getting some girl time.

Michael and Elizabeth singing

The whole family
Can you hear Elizabeth belting it out?
