Elizabeth's first day of PreK-3
Since Michael has been in school and after her open house she has been waiting for her school to start. She wasted no time exploring the classroom today.

After some free play the teachers gathered the children for circle. Elizabeth was the first to raise her hand with the answers.

I love how she is front and center at all times.

She already wants to go more than three days. It is a big adjustment from last year. She has fourteen three year olds in her class. Last year there were six two year olds.

After school she decided her treat would be a frappucino from Starbucks. Michael chose Qdoba and she chooses coffee.

This weekend we attended
Story Walk in the Park. There were twenty-six activities based on literature. Here Elizabeth is listening attentively to The Very Hungry Caterpillar while her brothers play.

Andrew and Michael sliding down the caterpillar.

Elizabeth was so excited to feed the animals in the petting zoo.

Elizabeth and her friend Nina doing paper
mâché. They loved it.
We enjoyed many activities. Andrew's favorite was the storyteller who also sang, played the guitar and the drums. Michael got to pick a book from the mobile library. He chose one on hurricanes.

We spent September 11th as a family enjoying a hike.
