Posing in their Little Miss / Mr. Men shirts

Elizabeth's says Miss Bossy and Michael is Mr. Mischief

There were a lot of outtakes

Michael wasn't very cooperative for the pictures,
even when I said I was taking them for Miss Lisa
(another Miss/Mr fan)

Elizabeth is getting pretty good at standing
and has even taken a few steps

It's only a matter of time before she takes off

Happy Birthday, Dad!!

A Visit to Our Nation's Capital

Michael was most excited about riding the Metro

We spent more time on the choo choo train than sightseeing

Enjoying dinner from our favorite Thai restaurant
while overlooking D.C.

The new Air Force Memorial

Colin's Baptism

Proud parents Nicole and Norbert with Colin

James and I are honored to be Colin's godparents

Can you believe this little peanut is four months old?

We took part in the March of Dimes Walk with Nicole and Norbert. Little Colin was a preemie, and we wanted to show our support. It was 90+ degrees, so we ended up running most of it.

Happy Easter!

Showing off their holiday pajamas

Fun with the bunny ears

Kisses

We spent Easter in Cincinnati with my grandmother, aunts,
uncle and cousins.
Michael and Elizabeth had a grand time with everyone.

After attending mass the Easter Bunny made a delivery

We spent a few days with James' family

Sandi organized an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids

And they're off

James' cousin Shannon came up from Atlanta
Here are her children John Gregory and Sarah

Elizabeth stayed at the party during the hunt
Here she's munching some celery with Nani

Jacob has a new baby brother.
Can't believe I didn't get a picture of Trevor.

The Rachal kids
(minus Elizabeth and Trevor)

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny

Michael and Elizabeth enjoyed all of the Easter festivities
But the food was their favorite - I liked the magic show

Later that morning we went to a huge Easter Egg Hunt

We were bundled up since it was barely 40 degrees and very windy

At one point Michael's entire basket flew away

Elizabeth watching the hunt

Afterwards we went inside and played games and made crafts
Great fun!

Elizabeth is wearing a beautiful hat and sweater knit by an 85 year old woman in India.
Thanks Cecilia Aunty

New Play System

Apparently these aren't called swing sets anymore
Of course Michael keeps calling it his new park

The much anticipated play system arrived yesterday
We had a play date that afternoon and all four children loved it

Michael studied the Rainbow catalog for hours choosing every accessory, down to the color of each swing.

Elizabeth is ten months old

He's one cool cat sporting his new shades
