Halloween

On our way out Michael told Elizabeth that she was prettier than the real Snow White.
Andrew took awhile to warm up. He has been saying trick or treat all week but clammed up when he went to our neighbors' houses. They would ask if he wanted candy and he would reply, Oh yeah! But by the next street he was right there with the other kids vying for candy.
It was a cold and rainy night. Our usual crew had to hop in the car every few houses. Towards the end Andrew and Elizabeth stayed in the car and ransacked the candy bag. I tried to give them suckers, but Andrew started yelling No! Chocolate! After a week of festivities it wasn't too hard to drag them home around 7:30.
Michael's elementary school parade. The classes went by so quickly, but Andrew really enjoyed seeing the costumes. Some of the 5th and 6th graders were really creative and scary.

By the fourth time Elizabeth dressed up I finally perfected her hairdo.

Trick or Treating at the mall
On the way to the mall, Elizabeth decided that her little pumpkin wasn't going to be enough. She picked this reusable tote instead. Before heading home they picked one treat and they both start searching for the Godiva. Sorry kids, those truffles were confiscated.
The MOMS Club party was one of the few events Andrew attended. He has had pneumonia for a couple of weeks. Fortunately he is too young to realize all the fun he missed this week.
Elizabeth headed the parade then tried to read to the younger children.
At Elizabeth's preschool party we decorated pumpkins together. She loves arts and crafts! They also had a parade and had to talk about their costume in front of the class. She was so excited that I spent the afternoon with her.
Michael helping me clean out the pumpkin. He enjoyed this activity, especially since he did it with James and I. Later Elizabeth insisted that I carve another pumpkin with her. But she preferred eating the roasted pumpkin seeds.
The same day we carved the jack-o-lantern we also played in the snow.
We made this snow baby in ten minutes.
Michael was thrilled with the snow and cold. He kept saying how beautiful everything looked and that we needed to decorate for Christmas.
