Tornado!! Though we have experienced some tremendous storms here, last night we had to wake Michael up and take him to our storm shelter. There were reports of a funnel cloud touching down half a mile from our house. For those of you who know our location the tornado was spotted at 180th and Harrison, we live at 175th and Harrison. This spring Michael and I had to take cover during the day, and when it passed I found some damage to the garage. My maternal instinct kicked in and I kept him in the storage room and fought the urge to check out the action outside. Still need to check the house for hail damage, but I think everything is alright. Oh, the joy of living in Nebraska!
